Heidi was our midwife for the birth of our second child. We decided later in my pregnancy to switch from hospital to home birth so there was a fair amount of catch-up we needed to do. Heidi handled us as new patients very well. She was very intentional and thoughtful in our desires while staying thorough medically. She was prompt, organized, and professional in our visits. When I was in labor, Heidi intuitively knew through our conversations and tone of my voice when to jump in her car and do the thing! She gave my husband and I space to experience our daughters birth together, while staying close and a voice of reason when things seemed out of control during the most intense moments of labor. Her work was not done after baby arrived. She was there for hours later checking vitals (mom and baby), doing paperwork, and helping while giving our family space to take it all in together. The following week, I heard from her everyday and multiple times a week until 6 weeks. Answering questions and supporting me through my fourth trimester. I highly recommend Heidi as a midwife or doula. She brings a peace and knowledge that will make any pregnancy and birth an amazing journey. ~ Dana Wield
